Early Career Internship 2025 : Microstrip Department

The Electronics Research Institute (ERI) is pleased to announce the ERI-sponsored Early Career Internship Program (ECIP). This 3 months training program facilitates opportunities for recent graduates, within 5 years, Faculties of Engineering, Computer Science, and Science, wishing to advance their careers by experiencing an applied research environment.

The successful candidates will meet with senior and junior scientists in the host lab, learn new techniques, possibly establish collaborations, as well as experience a different working culture. The selected candidates are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week to complete their Computers and Systems program in one of the following tracks:

Track 1. Antenna systems Design and Implementation

Track 2. Microwave Bio-sensors

Track 3. RF Energy harvesting

Track 4. Wireless Power Transfer (WPT)

Track 5. Microwave Passive Components

Track 6. Optical Communication

The Electronics Research Institute (ERI) is pleased to announce the ERI-sponsored Early Career Internship Program (ECIP). This 3-month training program facilitates opportunities for recent graduates, within 5 years, Faculties of Engineering, Computer Science, and Science, wishing to advance their careers by experiencing an applied research environment.

The successful candidates will meet with senior and junior scientists in the host lab, learn new techniques, possibly establish collaborations, as well as experience a different working culture. The selected candidates are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week to complete their Nano Technology program in one of the following tracks:

Track 1. Thin films of all kinds.

Track 2. Porous thin films.

Track 3. Uses of zinc in green energy and energy storage.

Track 4. Energy and storage.

Track 5. Semiconductor materials

The Electronics Research Institute (ERI) is pleased to announce the ERI-sponsored Early Career Internship Program (ECIP). This 3-month training program provides opportunities for recent graduates, within 5 years of graduation, from the Faculties of Engineering and Computer Science, who wish to advance their careers by experiencing an applied research environment.

The successful candidates will meet with senior and junior scientists in the host lab, learn new techniques, possibly establish collaborations, as well as experience a different working culture. The selected candidates are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week to complete their Microelectronics program in one of the following tracks:

Track 1. Hardware Implementation of AI Applications on FPGA

Track 2. Hardware/Software Co-design on Xilinx FPGA

Track 3. VLC communication system (using OFDM) with Hardware implementation

Track 4. VLC indoor localization (Using Machine Learning) with Hardware implementation

Track 5. Channel estimation in an OFDM system using machine learning with Hardware implementation.

This 3 months training program facilitates opportunities for recent graduates, within 5 years, from the Faculties of Engineering, Computer Science, and Science, wishing to advance their careers by experiencing an applied research environment.

Requested documents

• Electronics Engineering/computer science bachelor's degree certificate.

• Curriculum vitae, maximum 2 pages, including education and degrees earned, technical skills.

Selection process

All applications will be screened by the ECIP committee to ensure eligibility requirements are met. The committee will select the top candidates based on CV and personal interview.

Deliverables

The applicants are expected to present weekly and deliver a project at the end of the internship.
