Main Role in Development

STPERI provides some or all of the services related to the activities within it according to the funding opportunities and resources available at each stage of time. It is also possible to use experts or developers through external contracts or similar units at the Electronics Research Institute to provide some or all of the following services:

• All the goals and objectives stipulated in the Science, Technology and Innovation Incentives Law No. 23 of 2018 and its executive regulations, as well as providing all consultations and services related to those goals or symptoms.

• Technology incubators by taking advantage of the capabilities of the laboratories and entities supporting scientific research and innovation at the institute, where the incubator provides business services, technical and scientific facilities, support mechanisms and consultations for entrepreneurs and innovators to reach prototypes that can be manufactured and increase the percentage of the small and medium-sized companies component in developing the national economy.

• Providing all types of services needed by incubators, companies and beneficiaries within the science park (STPERI), such as legal, financial, marketing and logistical consultations, and holding exhibitions for the products of companies, incubators and science park (STPERI) activities.

• Services for manufacturing or developing semi-industrial outputs to help innovators produce semi-industrial products through national alliances to deepen the local output and product.

• Hosting start-up companies or companies based on research outputs for a transitional period not exceeding 24 months.

• Providing public activities and awareness activities about the services provided by the science park (STPERI).

• Focusing on research, development and innovation by working to deepen the connection between scientific and research institutions, the private sector and markets in order to raise economic growth.

• Working to enhance the internal and external competencies of the science park (STPERI) and its specialized units.

• Offering intellectual products and patents to strategic companies and working to improve competitive capabilities.

• Investing the results of research at the institute commercially and industrially by forming large economic entities for the purpose of development and technological investment.

• Creating a website for all services provided by the science park (STPERI) to beneficiaries of the owners of the same ideas from researchers and innovators.

 • Working to enhance the internal and external competencies of the science park (STPERI) and its specialized units.

• Offering intellectual products and patents to strategic companies and working to improve competitive capabilities.

• Investing the results of research at the institute commercially and industrially by forming large economic entities for the purpose of development and technological investment.

• Creating a website for all services provided by the science park (STPERI) to beneficiaries of the owners of the same ideas from researchers and innovators.

• Determining the percentages of intellectual property rights according to the intellectual property policy of the institute

• Drafting detailed agreement contracts between the beneficiaries, implementation partners and the management of the scientific science park (STPERI).

• The possibility of participating with beneficiaries in establishing start-up companies to benefit from the outputs of research projects.

• Organizing competitions in development and innovation related to activities in the Scientific science park (STPERI).

• Administrative, technical, legal, financial and marketing follow-up of research projects, ideas and start-up companies within the Scientific science park (STPERI).

• Providing technical and technological support for ideas within the Scientific science park (STPERI) with the help of experts from inside and outside the Electronics Research Institute.

• Providing combined administrative spaces that include a number of offices for the services of the Scientific science park (STPERI) and are equipped with communication services for the information network.

• Providing meeting rooms.

• Facilitating customs exemption procedures for research project devices in accordance with the Science, Technology and Innovation Incentives Law No. 23 of 2018 and its executive regulations.

• Technical and financial feasibility studies by analyzing the impact of the Scientific science park (STPERI) on beneficiaries.

• Supporting the formulation and registration of patents.
