Within the framework of the sustainable development strategy "Egypt Vision 2030", and in order to activate the Science, Technology and Innovation Incentives Law, which aims for the participation of research centers and institutes for the industrial sector in national industrial and production projects, deepening local manufacturing and raising the quality of the Egyptian product in the field of electronic products, the "Iprenuer" initiative was launched yesterday to support Establishing start-up companies for researchers in cooperation between the Industrial Modernization Center of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The launch of the initiative was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Sherine Mohamed Abdel Qader, Acting President of the Electronics Research Institute, Engineer Mohamed Abdel Karim, Executive Director of the Industrial Modernization Center, and many members of the Research Authority from various research institutes and bodies.
It is worth noting that the "Iprenuer" initiative aims to support researchers working in the research and academic sector to establish start-up companies that enhance the competitiveness of the industrial sector through research and development based on the concepts of digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the strengthening of the concepts of green technology, whereby ideas and research outputs capable of being targeted will be targeted. To address the challenges facing the industrial sector in the field of electronics, information and communication technology, and to improve production processes and raise the quality of products, the initiative will serve as a link between researchers, emerging companies and small and medium industrial enterprises operating in the industrial sector.
Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader explained that the Industrial Modernization Center, through the one to one company, explained the methodology of the initiative that will be activated at the headquarters of the Electronics Research Institute and the Science and Technology City for Electronics Research and Industry of the Institute, and presented the most important advantages that the research and academic sector will benefit from as a result of establishing start-up companies that can provide services Research and development for the industrial community.
Dr.Sherine said that the initiative will be implemented in several stages, starting with the selection of creative ideas for researchers that represent solutions to industrial and societal problems and ending with presenting ideas and research and development outputs to a committee of industrial and academic experts and investors; For the purpose of investing the outputs of scientific research to serve sustainable development.
