Prof. Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Moharram, President of the Electronics Research Institute, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Qadi, President of the Canadian Higher Institute of Engineering and Management Technology, signed a cooperation protocol with the aim of consolidating prospects for cooperation between Egyptian institutes, research centers and universities, maximizing the use of human and laboratory capabilities on both sides, and supporting areas of cooperation in the field of Training students and researchers, as well as supervising graduation projects.
Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader indicated that the cooperation between the two sides includes several axes, including: training students in the institute’s laboratories equipped at the highest level, supervising and following up on the implementation of graduation projects, and adopting entrepreneurship and technological incubators in the fields of electronics, communications and information technology to expand the base of cooperation with industry, Employing projects and research to serve the community. In order to work to support the economy and increase entrepreneurship, especially in the field of digital transformation and the applications of the industrial revolution, and to enhance the contribution to comprehensive and sustainable economic development through industrial development policies and programs and out of the keenness of both parties to integrate their services to serve this purpose and other purposes.
During his visit, Dr. Mamdouh Al-Qadi, accompanied by a high-level delegation of professors, headed by Prof. Ahmed Atef, Dean of the Canadian Higher Institute, and in the presence of Dr. Wafaa Radi, Head of the Communications and Electronics Engineering Department, and Dr. Muhammad Mandour, Coordinator of the Communications and Electronics Engineering Program, confirmed that the protocol aims to conduct practical training and studies. Applied within the framework of advanced technology in the basic branches of electronics at the institute with the aim of preparing graduates with the necessary practical experience to be able to solve scientific and technological problems facing society in the field of electronics and information and communication technology.
