The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport has signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Electronics Research Institute in the field of electronics, information and communication technology.
The cooperation protocol was signed by Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, and Dr. Sherine Mohamed Abdel Qader Muharram, President of the Institute.
This came in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Fadawi, Director of the Center of Excellence at the Academy, Dr. Mahmoud Fakhruddin, supervisor of the central and specialized laboratories, and Dr. Dina Mohamed, researcher in the Microelectronics Department and protocol coordinator from the Institute.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Academy and the Institute in various technological and electronic fields.
Dr. Sherine Muharram, President of the Electronics Research Institute, indicated that the Institute is currently establishing the Science and Technology City for Electronics Research and Industry as the first city for science in the Middle East, with presidential support and interest in it.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Academy honored Dr. Sherine Mohamed Abdel Qader, the President of the Institute, for her cooperation with the Academy, and the President of the Electronics Research Institute presented the shield of the Institute to Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar.
